Two wildfires are threatening California's vineyards. A 14,000-acre fire in Sonoma County was burning out of control over the weekend, while another fire in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada has destroyed 11 homes.

The Sonoma County fire, the largest burning in California, was approaching vineyards by Saturday afternoon. The cause of the blaze, which started on Friday, is not immediately known.

In the Sierra foothills of Calaveras County, another fire, started by a burning motor home on Friday, destroyed 11 homes and forced thousands of people to evacuate.
