Belvedere, the French drinks group with a strong share of the Polish market, has posted full year sales for 2003 up 61% to €351.8m (US$450.8m), compared to 2002.

The group, which generates most of its turnover in Poland, said that at constant exchange rates, and duties and taxes on alcohol excluded, turnover reached €139.2m, also up 61% year-on-year.

As a consequence of the increased sales, the company said it confirmed its expectations for a net profit of about €8.0m for the year.
