Stock Spirits Group has announced the launch of two new operating territories in Central Europe.

The company, which was created through the integration of Stock and Polmos Lublin in 2007, said late last week that it will enter Croatia from today (1 June), with operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina set to open on 1 September.

Stock Spirits' key brand in both countries is Stock 84 brandy, which the company claims is the leading imported spirit brand in both markets. The brand holds an 85% market share of imported brandy and a 15% share of total imported spirits in Croatia to date, and a 35% share of the total brandy category in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The company has also finalised an agreement with Bosnia and Herzegovina drinks producer Bobita, a licensed producer and bottler of Stock 84, which will see Stock Spirits distribute its and Bobita's products locally.

"We are delighted with the progress we have made in the region," said Neil Everitt, CEO of Stock Spirits. "We are confident, though, that with wholly-owned importation and distribution companies we will enjoy even greater success in these exciting and growing markets."
