Spanish wine producer Marqués de Grinon has secured US distribution through an agreement with Moët Hennessy USA.

The deal, announced this week, marks the group's return to the US after a two-year absence.

Marqués de Grinon was set up by winemaker Carlos Falco on his family's Dominio de Valdepusa estate in La Mancha. In 2002, the estate was handed a DO award - the Spanish equivalent of the AOC qualification in France - the only estate in Spain to be awarded the distinction.

Moët Hennessy USA said an agreement was reached because of the "like-minded dedication both companies have to providing products of luxury and incomparable quality".
