UK: Spa launches new 1.5 litre bottle
Spa Water is to launch a new 1.5 litre bottle in its mineral water range. The company said yesterday that, encouraged by the great success of its red 50-cl bottle, Spa Barisart, it hopes to combine the tradition of the brand's key presentation form with the contemporary boldness of the red design.
"There is a growing awareness of the importance of hydration for our overall health and well-being," says Liz Sherry, national sales manager, Spadel UK. "Currently only half of UK adults claim to drink water, so the scope for growth remains enormous."
The vivid modification of the popular 1.5 litre bottle will further enhance recognition and harmonisation of the Spa Barisart range, the company said.
Spa Barisart sparkling natural mineral water comes from the town of Spa in the Ardennes and is of exceptional purity and freshness.
The new 1.5 litre bottles are made from 25% recycled PET and are now available nationwide.
