INDIA: Soft drinks drive Cadbury India

Cadbury Schweppes' Indian operations reported today a 10% rise in net profit to 574 million rupees ($11.73m) for the year ended December. The improvement was driven largely by higher sales of its chocolates and energy drinks. Cadbury India posted net profit of INR520.3m in 2000.
