The Empire State Building is to allow Snapple to shine its company colours on the building during Snapple Beverage Group's 2002 sales meeting. It is the first time in seven years, anyone has been allowed to use the building for a such a promotion.

At nightfall on Tuesday, August 13th, the lights of one of the city's most recognizable landmarks will go from red, white and blue to Snapple's signature yellow.

"Snapple got its start in New York City's East Village thirty years ago - it seemed only right to hold our national sales meeting in our birthplace," said Steven Jarmon, vice president of Snapple Communications. "We are honored to have our corporate color shine in our hometown."
