UK: S&N Retail boss to resign

The UK beer group Scottish & Newcastle announced today that the chairman and managing director of its Retail division Bob Ivell intends to resign from the board of Scottish & Newcastle was the sale of S&N Retial is completed.

The sales, which was agreed earlier this week with Spirit Amber, is expected to go through in early November, subject to to approval by S&N shareholders at an EGM to be held on 29th October.
