Skinny Nutritional Corp has brokered a distribution agreement with Dr. Pepper 7Up Bottling of the West, to cover several western US markets.
The agreement will service counties in California, Nevada, Idaho and Wyoming, Skinny Nutritional said yesterday (26 February).
"This agreement with Dr Pepper 7Up Bottling of the West complements existing distribution agreements bringing Skinny Water to a total of 28 distributors," the company said. "Skinny continues to build its number of chain authorised accounts, currently over 2000 stores, nationally in all Target Stores and regionally with Acme Markets and Giant in the Mid-Atlantic, and Albertson's in Arizona."
"We are very excited to have Dr. Pepper 7Up Bottling of the West join the list of distributors who have jumped on board," said Ron Wilson, president and CEO of Skinny Nutritional Corp. "Their long history in the non-alcoholic beverage business and their relationships with chain stores in their territory will get Skinny Water launched successfully in this market."
Ed Frazer, president and owner of Dr. Pepper 7Up Bottling Company of the West, said: "We believe that Skinny Water is a great beverage, especially for consumers looking for a beverage that tastes great without the guilt of sugar or calories."
