US: Serrallés USA signs Glazer's rum deal

Serrallés USA has signed a deal with Glazer's to distribute Don Q, the premium rum from Puerto Rico, in the US.

Serrallés, which produces Don Q and imports it into the US, said yesterday (15 July) that Glazer's will in the mid-west region, from Texas to Ohio.

"With 100-years of dedicated sales and marketing experience in this key mid-western region, Glazer's will be able to build upon its existing relationships to make strong in-roads in both the on and off-premise channels," said Serrallés.

Don Q is manufactured by Destilería Serrallés in Puerto Rico, having been founded in 1865 by the Serrallés family.

Glazer's operates in 11 southern states of the US.
