JAPAN: Sales and profits up at Coca-Cola Japan

Japanese Coke bottler Coca-Cola Central Japan Co. has posted a 39.1% increase in net profit for the first nine months of the year to JPY2.57bn (US$22.4m).

Sales were 4.2% higher at JPY156.12bn.

Operating profit rose by 24% to JPY5.33bn.
