AUSTRALIA: Russian Standard launches with Beam Global

Russian Standard Vodka has launched its portfolio of vodkas in Australia and New Zealand, under a distribution deal with Beam Global Spirits & Wine.

Russian Standard and Beam Global aim to achieve the number two market position within two years in both countries, Russian Standard said today (17 September).

"Australia and New Zealand are important markets in our global footprint, and we believe that Russian Standard Vodka will become a clear leader among vodka connoisseurs," said Roustam Tariko, founder and president of Russian Standard Vodka.

Russian Standard's launches in Australia and New Zealand will be supported by integrated marketing campaigns and include a TV commercial that runs across free-to-air, cinema, pay TV and digital. Exclusive brand partnerships, consumer activations and an integrated PR campaign also support the advertising activity.

In addition to Australia and New Zealand, Beam Global distributes Russian Standard Vodka in Canada, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos and the Philippines.

Beam Global is the wine and spirits arm of US-based Fortune Brands.
