FRANCE: Ricard family, Kirin up Pernod stake

The holding company for the Ricard family and the Dutch finance arm of Japanese brewer Kirin have upped their joint stake in Pernod Ricard.

Paul Ricard and Kirin, which act together through a shareholder pact, raised their stake in the French drinks giant yesterday (9 Janaury).

In a filing with French financial markets regulator AMF, the companies said their stake in Pernod stands at 15.69%, up from 14.42%. Paul Ricard and Kirin hold a combined 21.75% of the voting rights.
