UK: Ribena increase pack size to drive sales
By Sarah Diston | 25 June 2001
GlaxoSmithkline (GSK) is increasing the size of its Ribena ready-to-drink multi-packs in what it describes as an "innovative move" to drive the soft drinks market. GSK plans to increase the size of its Ribena single serve multi-pack cartons so that consumers are able to purchase more units when buying in bulk. And in preparation for the summer, the three-pack moves to six-pack and the nine-packs are replaced by a 12-pack format.
