Remy launched the repurchase programme in December

Remy Cointreau has cancelled about EUR75.9m (US$103m) worth of stock as part of its share buyback programme.

The Remy board yesterday (25 March) cancelled 1,283,053 shares bought between early December and the end of January. The Paris-headquarterd group has previously stated the average price of the shares, which represent 2.578% of Remy's share capital, as EUR59.1639. 

In November, Remy split shares worth EUR20.3m among its staff. The windfall came from stock purchased in a share buyback programme.
