GERMANY: ProWein sets 2008 dates

Prowein has set the dates for its annual international trade fair for wine and spirits.

The trade fair, which will welcome visitors from over 40 countries to meet over 2,900 exhibitors from around the world, will be hosted between 16-18 March in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Last year, ProWein attracted 3,041 exhibitors from 43 countries and 32,000 trade visitors from around the globe, according to planners.

This year, Prowein plans to include "international symposia and panel discussions with world-renowned experts, extraordinary tasting sessions [from around 100 different wines from various international venues] and first-class evening events".
