Pernod Ricard's Jacob's Creek wine brand has secured further listings for its new Three Vines range in the UK.

The company's UK unit said yesterday (8 August) that the range of three tri-varietals will be available in Asda, Sainsbury's, Tesco, Thresher and Spar from this month, and in Greene King's pubs and bars from October.

The launch of the wines will be backed by national and consumer press advertising in the country, running from early September to the end of November, with customer sampling campaigns in Asda, Sainsbury's and Tesco.

"Both the trade and consumers rightly expect Jacob's Creek - as the UK's number one Australian wine brand - to lead the field in innovation and quality," said Adrian Atkinson, wine development director for Pernod Ricard UK. "Three Vines perfectly fits these expectations, bringing together the expertise of Philip Laffer and the winemaking team with our insight into the opportunities in the UK market for a vibrant, interesting and well-priced wine range suitable for a variety of drinking occasions."

The range consists of Semillon Sauvignon Blanc Viognier white, Shiraz Grenache Sangiovese rosé and Shiraz Cabernet Tempranillo red.
