Pernod Ricard is to launch its Beefeater 24 gin on the US market this spring.
Beefeater 24, the group's new "handcrafted" gin, is distilled in the UK and takes its name from the 24-hour steeping process.
"The gin category continues to show strong momentum and offers excellent future growth opportunities, making this an ideal time for us to launch this super-premium expression," said Tim Murphy, vice president of Beefeater, today (17 April).
"Some of the best and brightest within the bartender community have contributed their mixology expertise to craft Beefeater 24 drinks that continue to elevate the spirits industry in new and interesting ways."
Beefeater 24 will make its North American debut in New York and San Francisco this spring. Additional markets will be added in the coming months.
