UK: Pernod Ricard rolls out Ballantine golf promotion

Pernod Ricard UK will be rolling out Ballantine's in-store airport promotions until March 2009 as part of its 'Ballantine's Golf Championship - Players Lounge' campaign.
The aim of the promotion is to encourage travellers to trade up to Ballantine's Super Premium range, as well as boosting awareness of the global association between the brand and golf.
From December 2008 until the end of January, the promotion will continue in Moscow airport where customers will be invited to taste Ballantine's Super Premium 17 YO, 21 YO and 30 YO.
Travellers to Russia will also be given the chance to win a VIP trip for two to attend the Ballantine's Championship 2009 in Jeju, as well as attend a golf clinic with a top player.
From here the campaign will roll out in further stores across Europe.
In these locations, a Ballantine's travel bag will be handed out with every Super Premium bottle bought, as well as entry to a golf prize draw, tastings and an interactive game.
