Pernod Ricard is to update the packaging for the 15-year-old expression of its Havana Club brand.

The company, which co-owns Havana Club International with state-owned Cuba Ron, said today (26 February) that the bottle for Havana Club 15 Year Old has been updated to “reinforce its position in the ultra premium and prestige rum category”. The new bottle is available now in Cuba and Australia, before rolling out to markets including Czech, France, Austria, the UK, Germany, Switzerland, the Cayman Islands, Holland and Sweden this week.

China and Mexico will benefit from the update later this year.

The redesign provides “a sense of uniformity” for Havana Club's “Prestige” range, which also comprises the Selección de Maestros and Máximo Extra Añejo iterations.
