Pernod Ricard has lined up a Europe-wide television advert for its Ballantine’s Finest Scotch whisky brand.

The 30-second advert, entitled 'Transformation', will run from May until September across a range of European TV channels, including MTV, Viva, Comedy Central and Discovery, the company said late last week. The advert forms part of the brand’s long-running ‘Leave an Impression’ global campaign, which covers the full Ballantine’s range, and extends Finest’s ‘Plan Ballantine’s’ communication platform launched last year.

As well as the ad, Pernod said its Chivas Brothers unit, which handles the company's Scotch whisky brands, will continue to offer a range of Plan Ballantine’s marketing activity on a global basis including print, TV, radio, out-of-home, experiential events, PR, digital and social media.
