PepsiCo's board of directors has declared a quarterly dividend of $0.45 per share on the soft drink giant's common stock.
The dividend is payable from 4 January 2010 to shareholders of record as of 4 December, PepsiCo said today (13 November).
The dividend is a 6% increase on the payment for same quarter of last year.
Falling costs and investments in innovation helped PepsiCo to report a solid profit performance in its third quarter of 2009, despite a dip in revenues.
