PepsiCo has appointed Jill Beraud to the newly created position of chief marketing officer, as the group looks to better integrate its marketing strategies around the world.

Beraud, who will report directly to chairwoman and CEO Indra Nooyi, will be responsible for developing global marketing strategies across all PepsiCo food and beverage brands, the US firm said today (3 December).

Beraud was previously chief marketing director at Victoria's Secret, and has served as executive vice president for Victoria's Secret owner, Limited Brands.

Nooyi said: "We have some of the world's strongest brands and some of the world's greatest marketers, but never have we integrated our marketing efforts in a holistic, global and disciplined fashion across the PepsiCo enterprise."
