US: PepsiAmericas to pay Q4 dividend

PepsiAmericas, the US-based soft drinks business, has approved a fourth quarter dividend for shareholders.

PepsiAmericas said yesterday (2 October) that it would pay out US$0.135 per share on 2 January 2009.

The fourth quarter dividend will be payable to all shareholders listed as of 15 December, said the group, which sells and distributes PepsiCo drinks in 19 US states, as well as across Eastern Europe and the Caribbean.

PepsiAmericas reconfirmed full-year earnings per share guidance of $1.92 to $1.96 at an analysts' conference last month.
