US: PepsiAmericas declares dividend
PepsiAmericas said yesterday that its board of directors had declared quarterly dividends of $0.075 per share on PepsiAmericas common stock for each of the three remaining quarters of fiscal year 2004.
The dividend for the second quarter is payable on 1 July 2004 to shareholders of record on 15 June. The dividend for the third quarter is payable on 1 October to shareholders of record on 15 September. The dividend for the fourth quarter is payable on 3 January 2005 to shareholders of record on 15 December 2004.
When these dividends are combined with the 1 April 2004 dividend payment, PepsiAmericas will have paid dividends equal to $0.30 per share on its common stock for fiscal year 2004.
PepsiAmericas is the second largest Pepsi bottler with operations in 18 states, Central Europe including Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Republic of Slovakia, and the Caribbean.
