US: PepsiAmericas confirms Q3 dividend details

PepsiAmericas has issued details of its Q3 dividend payments.

The PepsiCo bottler, which earlier this week posted a 20% leap in net income for Q2, said yesterday (26 July) that its board has approved a dividend of US$0.13 per share. The dividend is a slight rise on the $0.125 paid at the same time last year.

Payment will be made on 1 October, PepsiAmericas said, to shareholders of record on 14 September.

The second largest global Pepsi bottler said earlier this week that net income for the three month period hit US$78m from $65m a year earlier. Sales for the period were also up, by 12.6% to $1.2bn from $1.06bn.
