US: Pepsi Bottling Group closes Lane purchase

The Pepsi Bottling Group has completed its acquisition of Lane Affiliated Companies in the US.

PBG announced the purchase, for an undisclosed sum, in September. The agreement is PBG's biggest deal since becoming a publicly traded company in 1999.

Headquartered in Colorado Springs, Lane Affiliated is the eighth largest Pepsi bottler in the US, serving parts of Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico.
