Panache Beverages has agreed a deal to buy Florida's Empire Winery and Distillery.

The renamed Panache Distillery will open before the end of the year and integrate Panache's domestic distillation, sales and bottling, the company said yesterday (3 June). No financial details were disclosed.

“Moving to manufacturing is a critical step for both Panache and its brands,” Panache CEO James Dale said. “The distillery will provide us with means to manage the supply of our own brands while also providing the parent company with new and diverse revenue streams.”

Production of Panache brands Wódka and Alibi American Whiskey will move to the distillery, which will also handle bulk spirits production and third-party contract distillation, Panache said.

New York-based Panache also owns the Alchemia Infused Vodka brand, which was launched in the US in 2011.
