FRANCE: Orangina Schweppes appoints new CEO

By | 22 March 2013

Orangina Schweppes Group is promoting its chief operating officer (COO) to the role of CEO.

Jacques Steffens will replace Luis Bach as CEO from April 1, the Suntory Holdings-owned company said on Wednesday (20 March). Steffens has been COO since last March and was previously the company's CFO.

He will report to Nobu Torii, chairman & CEO of Suntory Beverages & Food.

“The main focus of the business is and will be to drive the growth of the group's brands and its geographic footprint, with a particular focus on both Eastern and Western Europe,” Orangina Schweppes said in a statement.

Bach will take the role of Orangina Schweppes's vice-chairman.

A version of this story published yesterday incorrectly stated that Steffens had been appointed COO. We apologise for any confusion.
