US: New World Brands appoints CEO
US wine and spirits distributor New World Brands has appointed David Rudden as CEO.
Rudden will replace Costas Ataliotis, who resigned on 4 November to pursue other opportunities, the company said yesterday (14 November).
Rudden has been with New World Brands since March, when he was appointed senior vice-president of sales and marketing. He has spent the last twenty-five years in the wine and spirits industry, having held various positions with large distributors. His most recent position was senior vice-president of sales and marketing for A.V. Imports Inc.
"We are pleased that David has agreed to accept this position," said New World Brands' chairman, Selvin Passen. "His experience in the wine and spirit industry and his familiarity with New World Brands assures continuity. Moreover, since he joined the company in March, Mr. Rudden has proven himself to be an asset to the organisation."
"We want to thank Costas for his service to New World Brands, Inc.," Passen added. "We wish Costas the best in his new endeavour."
New World Brands imports wine and spirits for distribution in the US through its wholly-owned subsidiary International Importers.
