US: Molson Coors venture with SABMiller on track - CEO

Molson Coors said plans are still on track to finalise its joint venture with SABMiller by midyear, its CEO said yesterday (15 May).

Speaking at the annual general meeting, Leo Kiely told shareholders the plan to combine US operations of both companies will produce a more competitive operation.

Upon finalisation, it will handle brands such as Coors Light, Blue Moon and Miller Lite.

Shareholders also approved a number of directors for the board and an independent auditor during the meeting in Denver.
