MEXICO: Modelo expecting "moderate" Q3 volume growth

Grupo Modelo is anticipating "moderate" growth in third quarter beer volumes compared to the second quarter, according to the Mexican brewer's CEO.
Carlos Fernandez was quoted yesterday (11 October) by Dow Jones saying that the company expects to report "a growth trend, but moderate growth" for the three-month period.
Fernandez reiterated the company's forecast for domestic sales volumes to rise between 3.5% and 4% for the full year 2006, with export growth above 10%.
