US: MillerCoors leadership team named

Brewing giants SABMiller and Molson Coors have revealed the executive team for their US venture.

Molson Coors boss Leo Kiely will become CEO of the venture, MillerCoors. Tim Wolf, currently CFO of Molson Coors, has been appointed chief integration officer;

Tom Long, current CEO of Miller Brewing, has been named president and chief commercial officer, while Gavin Hattersley, current senior vice president of finance at Miller, has been handed the role of CFO.

The appointments to the MillerCoors leadership team will become effective upon the closing of the transaction, which is expected to take place on 30 June.

"People make it happen and I am very excited about this new team," said Kiely. "We have already begun planning the core elements of the integration process, including developing our corporate, sales and marketing structures so we will be able to hit the ground running on 1 July."

The Miller and Coors businesses will continue to be operated separately and in the ordinary course until completion of the transaction.
