Miller Brewing and SKYY Spirits will tap into America's low-carbohydrate diet craze by launching SKYY Sport in March.

The citrus-flavoured product will have a "splash of cranberry" and contain just 15 grams of carbohydrates per serving, or about half the carbs found in other flavoured malt beverages, the companies said.

SKYY Sport will be 5% alcohol by volume, be sold nationally in 6-packs and 12-ounce bottles and have packaging similar to that of SKYY Blue, which Miller and SKYY began selling in 2002.
