UK: Metaxa launches limited edition

Metaxa has created a limited edition blend for the company's 120th anniversary on the UK market.

Aen Metaxa, a premium blend of the Greek spirit drink, is packaged in Crystal de Sevres decanters and filled from cask no.1, the oldest in the Metaxa cellars.

Only 25 decanters of Aen Metaxa will be available in the UK and each has an RRP of GBP700 (US$1,226), with only 1,888 decanters available globally.

Katie Warren, Metaxa marketing manager in the UK, said: "Heritage, quality and uniqueness of taste are expressed in Aen Metaxa. It is the supreme expression of all that is different about the brand."
