AUS: McGuigan marketing chief quits role

McGuigan Simeon global marketing director Lisa McGuigan has reportedly decided to step down from her role at the Australian wine group.
Ms McGuigan, daughter of founder Brian McGuigan, will stay at the company, however, to manage its Tempus Two wine brand, the Sydney Morning Herald said today (22 January).
McGuigan Simeon chief executive Dane Hudson said: "[Tempus Two] is an important brand within our portfolio and with Lisa's continued involvement, we see opportunities for continuing sales growth."
The company has also reportedly appointed Michele Anderson to the new position of general manager, North America, as it looks to boost sales in what is a key export market.
Growing exports have come as a welcome relief for McGuigan Simeon in recent months. Last November, the company warned that first-half profits would come in at over 50% down on the year before.
Last August, McGuigan reported a net loss of A$11.5m (US$9.1m) for the year to 30 June, after writing off almost A$30m in stocks amid a glut of red wine.
