UK: Maxxium launches Rémy Martin Ice Boxx

Rémy Cointreau has launched its luxury Rémy Martin Ice Boxx in the UK, to gain a greater foothold in the premium on-trade sector.

Maxxium UK, which will distribute Rémy Cointreau brands until the end of March 2009, launched Ice Boxx at London's Amika nightclub last night (18 September).

The product allows bartenders to serve VSOP Rémy Martin Cognac at -18ºC, giving the Cognac a smoother taste, according to the firm.

Alex Quintin, Rémy Martin brand ambassador, said: "This new concept will provide renewed excitement to the traditional cognac drinker whilst introducing it to a brand new audience."

Maxxium UK plans to roll out the Ice Boxx in select bars across London this winter.
