London City Bond wins contract |
UK wine and spirits logistics provider London City Bond has entered into a partnership with wine, spirits and beer merchant, PLB Group.
The contract, announced today (4 March), will involve London City Bond storing product at its 273,000 sq ft warehouse facility in Barking, East London, and providing a nationwide distribution service for PLB’s customers for the on- and off-trade.
As part of the contract London City Bond will provide picking, container de-stuffing, promotional repacking and reworking services.
Jonathan Newton, commercial director at PLB, said: “We are delighted to enter into a long term partnership with London City Bond, who we believe have the complete solution to our UK logistics requirements."
In November last year, London City Bond secured a three-year contract to provide warehousing and distribution for drinks supplier Adel UK.
Around 65,000 cases of Adel's beers, wines and spirits will be stored at London City Bond's Barking warehouse.
