UK: LIWF launches online show planner

By | 19 March 2008

Brintex, the organiser of the London International Wine Fair (LIWF), is launching an online planner for this year's show in the UK.

The organiser said yesterday (18 March) that its interactive floorplan, the Wine-Searcher.com, will help attendees plan their schedule and route around the fair in advance. By logging on to  www.londonwinefair.com and following the instructions under the Visiting section, visitors can "research LIWF exhibitors by the producer or representative's name, or product category, downloading full contact details for those that they wish to meet," said Brintex.

The Wine-Searcher.com floorplan will also be linked to TastingBuddy's eCatalogue for the fair, The List, "enabling visitors to pinpoint exactly where specific wines are available to taste and plot their location on a personalised, downloadable map".

The plan will be available throughout the year as a source of reference, the company said.

LIWF show director James Murray added: "The fair continues to grow year on year and in 2008 there will be more wines to taste than ever before. The interactive facilities that we have created will make it infinitely easier for visitors to navigate their way around the Fair and allow exhibitors to publicise the full extent of their range in advance."

LIWF 2008 and new spirits show, Distil, take place between 20-22 May at ExCeL, Docklands.

Sectors: Spirits, Wine
