AUS: Lion Nathan names new Australia chief

Lion Nathan has said that James Brindley is set to become managing director of Lion Nathan Australia, following the brewer's takeover by Kirin Holdings.

Brindley will leave his post as commercial director of Lion Nathan Australia to replace Andrew Reeves, who has been appointed managing director of National Foods.

Both men are expected to be in their new roles by the end of October, subject to Kirin Holdings completing its takeover of Lion Nathan as planned.

Last week, Lion Nathan announced that it is to distribute the Budweiser portfolio in Australia and New Zealand.
