UCCOAR, a wine co-operative in the Languedoc region of south-west France, is set to invest €4m in planting a 400 hectare vineyard in the Dominican Republic. The project also makes provision for the construction of a vinification facility and bottling centre, which is expected to create almost 300 jobs.
