JAPAN: Kirin Beverage Corp recalls Volvic water - report

Kirin Beverage Corp has recalled more than half a million bottles of Volvic mineral water in Japan, following consumer complaints, according to local reports.
Kirin voluntarily made the recall after consumers complained of a bad odour upon opening the bottled water, which is owned by Groupe Danone in France, the Bloomberg newswire reported today (29 October).
Japan-based Kirin could not be reached by just-drinks for comment this afternoon.
