This Summer 2010 release marks Kilchoman's fourth single malt launch.

It is the first small batch release that has been matured in fresh and refill Bourbon barrels. The whisky was vatted and reduced to bottling strength on Islay and then shipped in 1,000-litre transit tanks to Houston Bottling Company, Glasgow.

The Summer 2010 Release is three years old and 17,500 bottles have been released worldwide.
