Coming up at this year's London International Wine & Spirits Fair…
Pernod Ricard UK (stand D50) will be celebrating the 25th, 30th and 50th anniversaries for three of its wine brands at this year's LIWF - Jacob's Creek, Montana and Campo Viejo, respectively. Pernod Ricard will also be showcasing boutique wines; Graffigna, Stoneleigh and Wyndham Estate as well as Champagne brands, Perrier-Jouët and GH Mumm.
Thierry's (stand C42) will be returning to this year's wine fair with a revamped, two-storey stand featuring a new addition for this year, Chez Thierry's bar on the upper level. On the ground level, Thierry's will be showcasing wines from its portfolio on four themed wine pods which will include 'Hot Deals', 'Best under £5', 'Crème de la Crème' and 'Thierry's brands'. Thierry's will also be hosting a masterclass on13 May from 12.15-1.15pm.
Wine Australia (stand F32) has taken the lead on sustainability & innovation issues in packaging with the UK launch of new, lighter 'leaner & greener' wine bottles this year, which can be seen at the show. Wine Australia will also launch its spring/summer collection at the fair, previewing new 2009 releases, alongside inspired blends and the newest releases onto the UK market. Guest winemakers will host tastings on a selection of themed wine flights.
Grupo Codorní (stand L60) will preview its new Raimat Abadia Rosé 2008 from at next week's wine fair. The rosé, produced from fruit grown at the Raimat estate's state-of-the-art vineyards, is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo and will have a RRP of GBP6.99. The rosé will also be the first Raimat wine to display a sustainable agriculture certificate on the bottle.
