Coming up at this year's London International Wine & Spirits Fair…

AliasSmith (stand E11) is focusing on bringing "the best 100% agave spirits to the European market." Their mission is to "protect unique, historic and sophisticated spirits manufactured in Mexico". These include the Los Tres Toños Tequila family, who are still using their ancient tequila recipe, with methods updated for the 21st century. The company will also be launching the Arette Artesanal Suave Añejo Tequila accompanied by new packaging to celebrate the launch.

Australian Vintage (stand F8-F10) is using this year's LIWF to unveil a restructured portfolio with the introduction of a number of regionally-focused brands and the launch of a new entry-level varietal McGuigan tier to replace the current McGuigan Gold label. Also offered will be the premium-positioned McGuigan Hand Made Langhorne Creek Shiraz - a limited edition 2005 release developed by winemaker Brian McGuigan.

Berkmann Wine Cellars (stand D60) are teaming up with Brintex to hold a Masterclass in Deutz on 20 May at 3.30pm. Deutz Export and marketing director Jean-Marc Lallier will offer visitors an insight into the Champagne brand, plus a tasting of key Champagnes in the range and an opportunity to win a tour, tasting and lunch at the winery. By invitation only. On 20 May, Casa Lapostolle from Chile will take guests through four vintages of their wine, Clos Apalta. On 21 May, Antinori from Italy will hold an on-stand tutored tasting. Plus Spain's Familia Martinez Bujanda will be introducing Canots de Valpiedra, to join 'big brother' Finca Valpiedra.
