Coming up at this year's London International Wine & Spirits Fair…

Codorníu (stand L60) will be offering its entire range of sparkling wines at this year's LIWF. The company will also unveil the limited edition Reina María Cristina, a single vintage, prestige sparkling wine. Also released are two new sparkling rosés - Anna de Codorníu Rosé and Teresa Rosado. These wines will be presented by Arthur O'Connor, director of winemaking for Group Codorníu, and Bruno Colomer Martí, head winemaker at Codorníu

Reina María Cristina is a single vintage reserva, traditional method sparkling wine, aged for 15 months, the 2005 Reina María Cristina is made from 50% traditional grape varieties and 50% Chardonnay.

Wines of Turkey (stand B60/C60), a new generic body representing ten Turkish wineries, will exhibit at the fair for the first time this May. Under the campaign banner 'Discover the roots', Wines of Turkey will show how the country has evolved from being the birthplace of wine to a modern producer of contemporary styles. The ten wineries attending this year's show are: Büyülübag Wines, Calvi Kalecik Wines, Corvus Wines, Doluca Wines, Gülor Wines, Kavaklidere Wines, Kayra Wines, Kocabag Wines, Pamukkale Wines, Sevilen Wines.

Visitors to the stand will be able to taste the country's offerings at 'The Turkish Top 20', a showcase of wines selected by the participating wineries.

Wines from Greece (stand N20) will offer a selection of "the top 20 Greek wines" for visitors. Wines at the stand, hosted by HEPO, will be selected by master of wine Konstantinos Lazarakis

"The Greeks are proud of their heritage and believe in the potential of their indigenous grape varieties for the world wine market," said Yorgos Papanayotou of HEPO. "International grape varieties are also now play an important role in making sure our wine styles suit international markets."
