Jones Soda Co has added a new size offering in the US for the Jones Pure Cane Soda brand, with the convenience store channel in its sights.

The soft drinks producer confirmed late last week that the Jones Pure Cane Soda range will be available in 16oz cans, featuring black and white fan-submitted photos that are “synonymous with the Jones' brand”. The can is specifically aimed at the convenience store channel, where beverage consumers typically prefer offerings larger than 12oz, according to Jones.

“This is an important segue for Jones, as the convenience store channel allows us to reach more consumers in general, and to reach more people who will try the product and ultimately convert to grocery store purchases,” said Jones' CEO, Bill Meissner. “This will make both channels an even stronger sales opportunity for Jones.”

The cans, which will retail at around US$1.29 each, will be used for the Green Apple, Berry Lemonade and Strawberry Lime flavours.

Sectors: Soft drinks, Water
