By just-drinks.com editorial team | 1 August 2006
Argentine premium beer brand Isenbeck is soon to be available in neighbouring Brazil, according to local reports.
Invertia-Brasil said late last week that Isenbeck, a German beer dating back to 1769, will be imported by Bier & Wein Importadora (BWI), a Brazilian importer and distributor of German beer brands.
In Brazil, BWI goes up against Boxer do Brasil, which imports and distributes beer from UK brewer Greene King.
Isenbeck has been produced in Argentina by Casa Isenbeck, a unit of German brewer Warsteiner since 1994.
Last year, Warsteiner added to its Argentine footprint by buying winery Bodegas y Viñedos Orfila in the country.
Sectors: Beer & cider, Wine
Companies: Greene King
