Inver House Distillers has unveiled the oldest variant of its Old Pulteney single malt whisky brand.
The company, which is part of the international arm of ThaiBev, said today (30 June) that Old Pulteney 30-year-old will be backed by an online competition, offering the winner a bottle of the Scotch. The competition can be found at the Old Pulteney website.
Senior brand manager Iain Baxter said: "For a malt whisky with so much age and depth, it's still incredibly approachable."
Old Pulteney 30-year-old will retail at GBP250 (US$415) per bottle in the UK and will only be available from specialist stores.
Late last year, Inver House's parent unit, International Beverage Holdings, expanded its commercial team, which will take responsibility for the development of the group's brands, including Old Pulteney, Balblair and Thai Chang Beer.
