WK217 Spectrum is the third and final release in the limited edition WK series of Old Pulteney travel retail exclusive releases. All three are named after fishing boats from Wick and Caithness, where the whisky is distilled: WK499 Isabella Fortuna (Cask Strength) was launched in 2010 and WK209 Good Hope was released last year.

Named after the fishing boat Spectrum, registered WK217, the whisky has been matured in ex-American and ex-Spanish oak Sherry butts,

A total of 9,600 bottles will be available.
